This site collects as little as possible. No accounts, no logins, no first-party cookies, and no advertising trackers.

Who is responsible
userengagement.net is run by Maurik Willemse, an independent consultant based in Zurich, Switzerland. If you have a question about this policy or about your data, write to maurik@userengagement.net.
What this site does not do
- There are no user accounts, logins, or passwords.
- There are no contact forms, comment fields, or newsletter sign-ups.
- There are no first-party cookies and no browser storage used for tracking.
- There are no advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social tracking scripts.
- Nothing you read here is sold, rented, or shared with data brokers.
Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It records aggregate information such as page views, referring sites, country, browser, and device type. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not build a profile of you across sites or visits. The result is a count of how many people read a page, not a record of who read it.
Cloudflare processes this data on my behalf as a processor. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's network. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data, including your IP address, for the purposes of delivering the page and protecting the service against abuse. This is standard infrastructure logging and is not used by me to identify you.
Buying The User Engagement Blueprint
The Blueprint is sold through Gumroad. When you click the purchase link you leave this site and complete the transaction on Gumroad's platform. Gumroad is the merchant of record: it collects your email address, payment details, and any tax information required, and it handles the payment and delivery of the PDF. I never see or store your payment details.
What I do receive from Gumroad is buyer information such as your name, email address, and country, so that I can fulfil the purchase and provide support. Your data on Gumroad is governed by Gumroad's privacy policy.
Email and booking a call
If you email maurik@userengagement.net, I receive whatever you choose to put in that message, and I keep it only as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a record of our correspondence.
The booking links on the consulting page take you to Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. If you book a slot, Calendly collects the details you enter, such as your name, email address, and time zone, and shares them with me so the meeting can happen. See Calendly's privacy policy. You can always email me instead of using the booking link.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask what personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is processed, and ask for a copy of it. Write to maurik@userengagement.net and I will respond within 30 days.
For data held by Gumroad or Calendly, those companies are the controllers for their own platforms, so requests about that data are best sent to them directly. I am happy to help either way.
Changes to this policy
If the tools this site uses change, this page changes with them, and the date at the top is updated. There is no mailing list, so the way to see the current version is to check this page.
